Dear Spinnel-(Anna)-Lovisa cousins,
Oh my gosh! THE REUNION draws near. Less than a month!
We have between 450 - 500 relatives registered for the reunion, let's see if we can make it 500 + !! Most of you have already registered, but there are some that haven't -- and there is still time -- but you need to register now. I've had some people say they are planning to register at the door. That's OK, but if you wish to partake in any of the meals you need to register by July 5th. You won't be able to stay for a catered meal if you haven't notified us in advance.
We have 3 catered meals - July 22 breakfast, July 22 supper and July 24 supper. The caterers need to know the final number of people they are cooking for 2 weeks before the meal. Catered meals are costing us from $10.00 - $15.00/plate, but we are charging only $5.00/person for each meal. Age 5 and under will be eating FREE. Therefore, when you register, please indicate which meals you will be at, and the age of children attending. The Family Talent show is slated for July 22 immediately after supper. You won't want to miss it! Another reason to register for the July 22 supper. We can always use more talent, so if you want a chance at being named the S-(A)-L IDOL, let me know if you want to sing, dance, yodel ........... !
GAMES: There will be a trophy for ping pong, maybe crokinole if we get enough participants. Ping pong is single play, crokinole doubles. If you haven't already registered for these games, please do so now -- email or phone me. It is not necessary to register for can-can. We will just get together and p-l-a-y!

1. History books (120 pages) will sell for $20.00 at the reunion. If they need to be mailed, the cost will increase to cover the cost of mailing. If you are unable to attend, perhaps a family member could pick up your history book order.
2. Our cookbooks will be available for $13.00.
(A page with a few corrections from the 2009 printing will be available at the same table for those who purchased earlier.)
3. Viking helmets will still be available for sale, small - $5.00, large - $10.00.
4. Some of our relatives are putting blue & yellow flowers (for the reunion) on the graves of their family members buried at the Bethesda Lutheran and Brockington Mission Covenant Churches. Short programs will be held at both churches on Sat.
5. Plastic streamers or plastic marking tape in blue and yellow will be available to put on your car antenne for those interested.
